About the Event
In this interactive series, we’ll demonstrate five foundational cooking skills to help answer the most important question of the day: “What’s for dinner?”
Using everyday ingredients and basic kitchen tools, you’ll learn to create meals that save time and money while delighting your taste buds.
In Week 3: Pan Searing, chef Sandra Lewis will demonstrate how to pan-sear to create restaurant-quality meals quickly and affordably.
You’ll learn:
- The proper technique for pan-searing protein
- How to use kosher salt to properly season your food
- The best oils to use when pan-searing
- The formula for a great marinade using what you have on hand in your pantry
