AARP Hearing Center
Stay active and strong with a seated workout that blends breathwork and core-focused movement to boost posture, flexibility, and pain relief.
About the Event
Join AARP Vermont for a fully seated practice designed for those with limited mobility, focused on developing a deeper understanding of the “core” and building strength through a solid foundation in movement—all without standing or floor exercises.
This interactive class combines breathwork with torso-focused mobility and strengthening techniques to improve posture, flexibility, and pain management while enhancing your mind–muscle connection—all from the comfort of your chair. Perfect for anyone seeking a safe, accessible way to stay active and strong.
The class is led by Julia Fuller, a certified personal trainer and specialist in corrective exercise and biomechanics. Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.
What to Bring: a sturdy chair with a flat seat.
Optional Tools: yoga block or pillow, light weights, resistance bands, exercise ball, and a full-length mirror.
