Learn the basic principles of slow and gentle Hatha yoga during our six-week virtual series. We’ll practice breathing and mindfulness, too.
About the Event
Certified yoga instructor Teri Mullen will lead this online yoga class each week on Fridays from October 31 through December 11.
You’ll be guided in the gentle postures of Hatha yoga, which are typically held longer and practiced more slowly than poses in other types of yoga. No experience is necessary — yoga starts where you are!
The yoga class can help you increase flexibility and improve balance, stability and muscle tone as you learn the basic principles and practice breathing and mindfulness. You may also gain strength and reduce chronic pain. A yoga mat or blanket, bolsters and yoga blocks may be helpful. Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.
