Warm up with a look back at SWIRCA Brewfest 2019

Posted on 11/11/19

AARP Indiana shows up in all kinds of ways in communities across the state.
One way that the Evansville team engages with its friends and neighbors is through a longstanding (five years running) sponsorship of the SWIRCA BrewFest, which is held annually at the historic Bosse Field.
“It’s important for AARP to show up differently,” Associate State Director of Community Engagement Addison Pollock said. “AARP volunteers in Evansville can be found tending community farms, helping at the Mid-America Institute on Aging and Wellness conference, or hanging out with a multigenerational crowd at the baseball stadium. We’re proud to be a part of this community.”
BrewFest is a fundraiser for SWRICA & More, a nonprofit that helps people successfully age in place and supports the 50+ community.
With cold temps hitting the Hoosier state, warm up by flipping through our September 2019 BrewFest photo gallery and seeing what the event is all about.
