Scammers who steal your wallet can use the information in it to perpetrate a variety of crimes. Criminals can use your driver’s license to steal your identity, get a loan or enter into a rental agreement, for example.
With identity theft rampant, it’s wise to keep only the bare essentials in your pocket or purse. We‘ll also provide guidance on what you should do if you do lose your wallet.
