Join AARP Massachusetts on the Walk to End Alzheimer's in September

AARP Massachusetts is forming a team for the Worcester County Walk to End Alzheimer’s and we would love for you to join us! This 3.4 mile walk takes place in Worcester on September 15. All funds raised through the Walk to End Alzheimer’s further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.

All AARP Massachusetts team walkers will receive a free red AARP t-shirt to wear on the day of the walk. Each walker would raise money toward the team goal of raising $5000. If you raise $150, you will receive a shirt from the Alzheimer’s Association. Join us to have fun and raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease.

According to the Alzheimer's Association, this event will take place rain or shine. However, the walk will be cancelled in severe weather conditions. If that is the case, the Alzheimer's Walk website will be updated on or before the morning of the event.
