The Fall Color Festival celebrates the most brilliant season at The Morton Arboretum. Take in 1,700 acres of seasonal splendor, as hundreds of thousands of trees from 40 countries blaze with fiery orange, warm gold, and vivid crimson. Hike or bike in the crisp fall air. Drive scenic roads to see spectacular vistas. Make family memories in our award-winning Children’s Garden, or enjoy fall-themed events.


Annual Bulb Sale

Opening weekend is September 18 -20, 2020

Bulbs will be sold through October 2020 or while supplies last
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily

The Arboretum Store

Shop for dozens of varieties of spring-blooming bulbs such as tulips, daffodils, iris, alliums, crocus, and fritillaria, and more, ready for fall planting.

Limited quantities available. Shop early for the best selection.

Scarecrow Trail

October 1 - November 1
7 am - Sunset

Reserve your timed-entry passes and tickets to view the Scarecrow Trail

Take a stroll around Meadow Lake to view scarecrows created by local scout troops and school groups. After your walk, vote for your favorite scarecrow online.

Fees and admission

The Scarecrow Trail is included with timed-entry passes and tickets which are required for all members and guests to visit The Arboretum.
