About the Event

Preparing for your future or for the care of someone you love can be a daunting, sometimes urgent task. AARP provides practical information to help you identify the “what ifs” and find solutions.

This month, Aging Academy delves into potential financial pitfalls you may face as you prepare for retirement. For instance, we’ll talk about the dangers of reverse mortgages, long-term care insurance, prepaid funerals, planning for Medicaid too soon, and joint titling of accounts with family or friends.

Join us on the third Thursday of each month to:

• Explore issues you may face yourself or as a caregiver
• Get tips and tools to help with planning for potential needs
• Connect with others to share best practices and lessons learned

How to Join

Sign in to your AARP.org account or create an account to register for events. AARP membership is not required. You will receive an email with the Zoom link before class.
