About the Event
Join certified fitness instructor Shauni Hawkins for a fun six-week virtual fusion class incorporating aspects of ballet, Pilates, yoga and strength training. The class will combine small, isolated movements with larger ranges of motion for a high-intensity, low-impact workout to improve muscle endurance, core strength, posture, balance and flexibility.
Suggested equipment and alternatives:
- Light dumbbells (or cans/water bottles)
- Small squishy playground ball (or small throw pillow/stuffed animal)
- Paper plate (on carpet) or small towel (on hard surface flooring)
- Loop resistance band (option to use no band)
- Chair without wheels
