Build a diet from foods that help calm the flame.
About the Event
Got aches and pains? Some causes of pain, such as arthritis, are unavoidable but you can build a diet from foods that help calm the flame. Chronic inflammation can lead to heart disease and other serious problems. The best defense is to eat anti-inflammatory foods and cut out those that feed inflammatory responses. Luckily, the foods that protect you are also delicious! Chef Robin Asbel will show us how to cook several dishes with anti-inflammatory foods, including:
- Coconut Curry Salmon Stew over Brown Rice
- Roasted Broccolini in Pistachio Pesto
- Wild Rice and Blueberry Salad with Ginger
- Black Bean Chili with Cornbread
