Come learn how to avoid some common mistakes and assemble heart-healthy and low fat, low sugar snacks, sauces and beverages. This cooking demo begins at 1:00PM on Tuesday, Sept 17th at Irondequoit Public Library in Room 115 (ground floor) located at 1290 Titus Avenue in Irondequoit. You do not need to be an AARP member to participate. There will be time for audience questions and answers. Sample tastings are provided!
This session includes demonstrations and recipes for Fresh Berry Compote that can be used to enhance breakfasts, desserts and entrees, Roasted Walnut Red Pepper Dip that can make vegetables, crackers, or fruit come to life, and Za’atar Spiced Nuts featuring Middle Eastern spices.
