Creativity and imagination can help us maintain connections when memory is disrupted.
About the Event
When cognitive challenges threaten to disrupt friendships and relationships, using creativity and imagination to spark communication can help us maintain and enrich connections with people we love and care for. This workshop will teach you how to communicate in ways that replace the pressure to remember with the freedom to imagine!
Learn new ways to tap into your creativity and have some fun along the way with live interactive demonstrations by trainers from TimeSlips, an award-winning non-profit that aims to bring meaning and joy to late life. This workshop is meant for people living with dementia and their loved ones who care for them.
