Join AARP California and San Diego Filipino Cinema for a screening of the film “Her Locket”, directed by J.E. Tiglao, followed by a panel discussion on memory, caregiving, and family connections. Featuring speakers from the Alzheimer’s Association and CARE San Diego, the conversation will also explore cultural perspectives on aging, caregiving challenges, and community support.

Film Synopsis: Jewel Ouyang has lost everything – her youth and beauty, her popularity, and her fortunes. She now lives with dementia, her loving lawyer son, Kyle, and a young caregiver, Teresa, who seems more ambitious than caring. When she finds an old locket, it opens up her life’s memories and the pain of betrayal.
