This session in our series on Alzheimer’s and brain health focuses on caregiving.
About the Event
AARP Virginia, along with the Alzheimer's Association of Southeastern Virginia Chapter, presents Brain Bites, a four-part virtual series on Alzheimer’s awareness and brain health.
This third session, Understanding the Caregiver Process for Families Dealing with Alzheimer's, will explore some of the things you most need to put in place to help you and your loved ones as well as caregiving resources available.
Where do you find support after the difficult diagnosis? What are smart strategies for care planning and building support? How do you prepare for doctor visits? We will answer these questions and more.
Other sessions in the series:
- 6/6 - Healthy Living for Brain and Body
- 6/13 - What is Dementia?
- 6/27 - The Six Pillars of Brain Health
