The fourth class in our movement series examines the importance of the feet as our base and how foot positioning can affect the whole body.
About the Event
Our feet are obviously key to our performance when standing and walking. What you might not know is that your feet may be impacting your body all the way up to your head!
In this class, Get in Touch with Your Foundation, we’ll explore ideal foot positioning and how to achieve it, getting the rest of your body involved to help your feet do their job. We’ll also discuss issues that start off as misalignment in the foot but appear as problems elsewhere, and what you can do to decrease pain and increase your strength.
Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen. The class is facilitated by Julia Fuller, a certified personal trainer and health coach, a fitness nutrition specialist and a specialist in corrective exercise and biomechanics.
NOTE: This class is a combination of presentation and demonstration, it is not an exercise class.
