This performance by Plácido Domingo marked 50 years since the young Madrilenian singer debuted at the Arena Di Verona.
About the Event
Placido Domingo presents a program dedicated to Verdi, performing three of his most complex and majestic baritone roles at the Arena Di Verona, the ancient amphitheater at the heart of Italian entertainment for almost 2,000 years.
Domingo’s baritone and celebrated intonation shines on an excellent cast including Anna Pirozzi and Arturo Chacón-Cruz, supported by a ballet under the baton of conductor Jordi Bernàcer leading the orchestra of the Arena di Verona.
