If you’re interested in history, join us for a virtual visit to Philadelphia’s Museum of the American Revolution.
About the Event
Come along on a virtual visit to The Museum of the American Revolution, which opened in 2017 in Philadelphia. Learn from a museum educator where the collection came from, how an Episcopal minister in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, acquired George Washington’s war tent, and what that acquisition had to do with the American Civil War.
How did the museum end up in downtown Philadelphia? What new discoveries have we made from recent acquisitions? This presentation highlights key artifacts in the collection and also reveals how things work behind the scenes at the museum.
