The third session in our series of virtual tai chi classes based on the movements of five animals will focus on movements of the monkey.
About the Event
Our five-part virtual tai chi series, taught by Tai Chi Ray, creates a supportive environment for you to learn the core principles of tai chi and fundamental tai chi movements based on those of five animals: the tiger, deer, monkey, bear and crane. Each animal has two postures and forms and represents one or more parts of the five elements in traditional Chinese medicine.
This session will guide you in Five Animal Play: Monkey. Monkey represents fire, heart, small intestine, tongue, pulse, happy and summer. Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.
