The second session in our series of virtual tai chi classes based on the movements of five animals will focus on movements of the tiger and deer.
About the Event
Our five-part virtual tai chi series, taught by Tai Chi Ray, creates a supportive environment for you to learn the core principles of tai chi and fundamental tai chi movements based on those of five animals: the tiger, deer, bear, monkey and crane. Each animal has two postures and forms and represents one or more parts of the five elements in traditional Chinese medicine.
This session will guide you in Tiger Play (representing wood, liver, gallbladder, eye, tendon, anger and spring) and Deer Play (representing water, kidney, bladder, ear, bones, fear and winter). Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.

- 5/7 - Tai Chi Five Animal Play: Monkey
