Each year our Boston Volunteer Network and our Worcester Volunteer Network engage in a day of service on September 11th. We choose to honor the tragic loss of lives by helping others as a symbol of hope and show the strength of our communities. We hope you will consider joining us on this day as we partner with Catholic Charities of Worcester County.
We will support this organization by working in one of their food pantries on any of the following tasks:
- organizing boxes of food
- making food bags (can be done sitting)
- throwing out trash
- lifting boxes
You must register 2 weeks in advance (by August 28th) to participate and complete the necessary paperwork. We will work from 9 AM until 12 PM and if you are available we welcome you to join us for lunch afterwards at a local restaurant.
Please check your email upon registration where you will get the link to two important documents that need to be completed and emailed back to the organization we are partnering with, Catholic Charities of Worcester County. Please note one of the documents is a CORI which requires a photocopy of your state issued ID for them to process.
