A fun fusion exercise series to improve endurance, strength, balance, and posture.
About the Event
Join certified fitness instructor, Shauni Hawkins for a virtual six-week fun fusion class, incorporating aspects of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength training.
The class will combine small, isolated movements with larger ranges of motion for a high intensity, low impact workout to improve muscle endurance, core strength, posture, balance, and flexibility.
Suggested equipment (and alternatives):
1. Light dumbbells (or cans/water bottles)
2. Small squishy playground ball (or small throw pillow/stuffed animal)
3. Paper plate (on carpet) or small towel (on hard surface flooring)
4. Loop resistance band (option to use no band)
5. Chair without wheels
