Although human anatomy hasn’t changed much, we’ll explore it in a much-changed way thanks to exciting technology used to teach anatomy today.
About the Event
The Skaggs Treasure Valley Anatomy and Physiology Laboratories at Idaho State University-Meridian use advances in technology and virtual anatomy along with classic donor-based study to teach anatomy. In this class, we’ll join the director of lab education on an exploration of the endlessly fascinating human body.
An hour-long instructional presentation will highlight the intricate network of connections between the major organs and organ systems, and an interactive 30-minute Q&A will follow. A brief virtual visit to the labs will offer insight on how they support health sciences education, research and practice in Idaho and beyond.
