AARP Eye Center

For seasoned and new volunteers looking to volunteer in our programs at AARP Massachusetts.
Join AARP Massachusetts for our annual volunteer conference! The theme for this year's conference is "Collaborate to motivate and inspire!" This event is ideal for people who are already AARP volunteers or are ready to roll up their sleaves and begin volunteering in our various programs including Advocacy, Livable Communities, Fraud, Speakers Bureau, Social Security, Tabling, and more. Our morning Keynote Speaker is Keanne Henry, SVP of Enterprise Strategy from AARP's national office who will inspire and motivate our guests as she provides insight about the strategic direction of the association and the crucial role of the volunteer. After participating in a variety of breakout sessions we will close out the day with a panel discussion that engages our AARP volunteers with student volunteers from College of the Holy Cross as we together discuss ageism, civic engagement, and thoughts on key issues like Social Security. *When you register you will be asked to make a choice for the morning and afternoon breakout sessions. It is ok if you change your mind but this will help us in our planning process. **We will have our Volunteer Portal Champions available in our resource area throughout the conference so if you need a portal tutorial please bring the device you regularly use to access the volunteer portal and our volunteer champions will be glad to assist you.
