Get Active: Bootcamp, Ballet, Stretch, Dance & More!
Join us for Workout Mondays! Connect with AARP New York and IndoRican Dance and Fitness for a series of Balance Bootcamp and Ballet Fit virtual classes.
AARP members and guests could learn exercises that are utilized to strengthen and tone muscles while improving stability and coordination. Each one-hour class is meant to promote well-being and social interaction with other participants.
*Please consult your physician before starting any new exercise regimen. Ongoing class participation could reduce the risk of falling and enhance the potential for engagement in a wide range of activities.
1. Balance Bootcamp Series
In this series, work on exercises individually and in teams that could improve body balance, stability, and agility. This class concentrates on the neurological aspect of balance, as well as fine and gross motor skills.
*All virtual sessions are on Mondays from 1 – 2 p.m.

2. Ballet Fit Series
Want to learn how you could create the ballet body aesthetic? In this series, work individually and in groups to practice ballet movements that could lengthen, strengthen, and tone your body and increase your heart rate.
