The first session of our virtual series on Asian cooking features Indonesian Peanut Satay Lo Mein with a sweet and savory peanut butter sauce.
About the Event
In this workshop, we’ll explore different Asian noodles and sauces, and when to use them. We’ll also learn how to make protein-packed Indonesian Peanut Satay Lo Mein, incorporating lo mein noodles, vegetables, tofu and a sweet and savory homemade peanut butter sauce.
This one-skillet vegan dish is very versatile and can be made using gluten free noodles if you choose. We will not be making noodles from scratch but rather exploring how to work with different types of store-bought noodles. If you like, you can download a list of ingredients to have on hand.
