This session in our virtual health series with MD Anderson covers the case for making fruits and vegetables a central part of your diet.
About the Event
Often, it’s the little things we do that have a powerful, transformative impact - like our daily habits. AARP Houston is partnering with one of the world's most respected medical centers, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, to present a monthly virtual series through June offering tips on disease prevention.
This session, Your Health Matters: Eat More Fruits and Vegetables, will explore the benefits of a plant-based diet - how making the colorful goodness of vegetables and fruit a big part of your daily menu can help you maintain a healthy weight and reduce your cancer risk. We’ll also share tips and tools to help you eat more fruits and vegetables.
