It’s National Stress Awareness Month, and the first session in our eight-part virtual “Boost Your Brain and Body” series will explore ways to ease stress.
About the Event
Our virtual “Boost Your Brain and Body” workshop series, presented by Body & Brain Yoga and Health Centers Inc., will explore how what’s good for the body is also good for the brain. Did you know that regular exercise and meditation can lead to sharper thinking and reduce the risk of cognitive decline?
This session will focus on stress, its effects on health, and effective stress-management techniques. Learn East Asian energy principles and simple ways to achieve optimal energy balance, which can increase your capacity to manage stress and improve mental and emotional resilience.
Other sessions in the series:
- 5/22: Tai Chi for Joint Pain
- 6/19: Practices for Successful Aging
- 7/10: Breathing & Energy Meditation for Self-Care
- 8/28: 5 Exercises for Boosting Immunity
