About the Event
This 45-minute virtual workshop on resilience is a weekly seminar offering a safe space for learning and sharing. The goal is to develop resilience strategies and coping skills to help you handle life’s challenges, bounce back from disappointments and boost overall wellness. Easing social isolation through fellowship and connection can strengthen resiliency, for example.
The May workshops will focus on making friends. Having social support is an essential resilience factor. Studies suggest that those with strong friendships are far more resilient than those without when dealing with difficult work situations, a severe medical illness or even the loss of a loved one.
These gatherings are about supportive small group discussion; cameras are always optional.
