The Dutch Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra's program includes violinist Simone Lamsma performing Tchaikovsky's popular Violin Concerto.
About the Event
Enjoy this performance by the Dutch Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, dedicated to Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and illustrating the diversity and richness of his oeuvre. Dutch violinist Simone Lamsma performs Tchaikovsky's popular Violin Concerto, an extremely technically challenging piece. Hong Kong-born Elim Chan -- one of the most exciting conductors of the younger generation -- is on the rostrum.
Also on the program are the Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture and an orchestral Suite from the ballet Swan Lake, which take listeners deeper into Tchaikovsky's romantic fairy-tale world.
