Sleepy Hollow Theatre & Arts Park's mission is to nurture youth by providing quality pre-professional, educational opportunities in the arts that result in the cultural enrichment of our communities and state.
Sleepy Hollow Theatre and Arts Park programming is based on:
Belief in the tranfomative power of the arts
Belief that personal examples and training by excellent instructors/staff will impact people's lives
Example is not the main thing in influencing people. It is the only thing - Albert Schweitzer
-Belief that nature is inspirational
-Belief that every person has talent which can be developed
-Belief that work ethic is imperative
-Belief that excellence is a habit
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit - Aristotle
-Belief in giving people access to the arts
-Belief that working together on collaborative projects fuels success and understanding of other people
-Belief that character building life skills will be imparted

Sleepy Hollow Theatre aims to play a significant role in the welfare and educational growth of our citizens by providing positive opportunities in the arts for young people via training classes, productions and special events. The Sleepy Hollow Theatre& Arts Park site provides a unique outdoor experience under the stars for people of all ages.
In order to accomplish this, Sleepy Hollow selects an outstanding staff of professional actors and teachers who mentor our young people in character-building and technical skills. This quality learning benefits them in the theatrical arena as well as in all walks of life. In turn, Sleepy Hollow enhances the lives of audiences and those we serve through quality performances.
