Richville Free Library

87 Main Street
Richville, NY 13681

315-287-1481
Richville Free Library opened May 26, 1926. The Librarian was Clara Nightengale, a volunteer who had been instrumental in the initial organization of the Library. In 1932 the Library received a Provisional Charter. The Library thrives today - as in the past - through the efforts of dedicated volunteers and the interest of the community

The small one room library is located next to the village office and though small is certainly big in spirit. Recent renovations make the Library a pleasant place to browse, to attend a program or to use the computers.

The Library has a nice selection of fiction, non-fiction and reference books and materials for persons of all ages. There is also a nice collection of maps, of NEw York State books, records and some items of interest to genealogists.
