About Us:
We are a non-profit arts organization dedicated to the revitalization of the Newburgh and the preservation of Newburgh's historic West Shore Railroad Station by providing a space for high-quality, artistically creative performing arts experiences.

The Railroad Playhouse provides a home for playwrights to workshop and showcase new plays; present local, national, and international artists of all genres; create partnerships with local businesses and organizations to continue revitalizing the area; implement a summer arts camp for local children; and create teaching-artist residencies and after-school programs.

We are a not-for-profit organization, meaning everything from our electricity bill to our fees for the acts you see are paid for by kind donors and supporters. We are always looking for people to get involved at any level of funding (and you can contact us at info@RRPlayhouse.org if you are!) But the best way to support us is by coming out to a show, and bringing a friend to share the good time.
