Mayor Floyd Carpenter formed committee in 1974 to investigate the construction of a new building to house the Pulaski Village Office and the Pulaski Public Library. The Snow Memorial Building was dedicated on May 26, 1976, with the library occupying 39 percent of the space. Wilma Elder resigned as librarian in March of 1978 after 16 years with the Pulaski Public Library. The Library board appointed Katie Bailey as acting librarian until her death in 1981. Brenda Wilson Bennett served as library technician from 1981-1989, and Mary Jacobs became the librarian until 1992.Nancy Johnson served the library from 1992 until her retirement in 1997. Margaret Weigel is now the present Librarian.The first public -use computer came to the library in January of 1991, and with donations and grants others followed. In 2001, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation presented two computers and along with gifts from the Friends Group, the library now has six computers with high speed internet access
