About Us:

Phoenix Stage Company opened on August 26, 2010 with our inaugural production of Bleacher Bums.

It is our mission to enhance the quality of life in Connecticut’s Naugatuck Valley by providing quality theater experiences for the residents of Naugatuck and other areas in the state of Connecticut and providing training and education for actors, directors and others involved in theater productions and by providing an opportunity to demonstrate and improve their skills by participating in theatrical productions.

It’s been an exciting year for us - nine full stage productions that included two original works! The first original was One Night With Fanny Brice - a one woman show about the life and career of Fanny Brice.  This show left us for a five-month run off-Broadway!  Our second original was The Ice Box, written by Emmy Award winning videographer Rick Doyle.  This was a trip into the dark side - a true sci-fi thriller on stage!  Audiences were thrilled with the production and still talk about the exciting stage combat and deeply developed characters.  There’s talk of this production possibly moving on to the Fringe Festival in New York City!
