Rob & Jen Slocumb, aka Martha's Trouble and owners of The Sound Wall are bringing a new festival to Downtown Opelika. We are excited to announce OPELIKA SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL, an annual affair, to take place this Memorial Day Weekend, May 24 - 26, 2019.
OPELIKA SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL will be a destination festival - meaning festival goers will come not only from our community, but from across the State of Alabama and surrounding areas. This is wonderful tourism opportunity to showcase how great the City of Opelika truly is! We are happy to announce AO Tourism as an event sponsor and we would like to thank them for handling all digital and print advertising for the festival.
OPELIKA SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL will consist of 40 singer-songwriters made up of our local to internationally touring songwriters including, Grammy Award Winning Songwriter Dan Navarro, Kate Campbell, Harpeth Rising and many more! The festival will take place in Downtown Opelika in six different locations such as John Emerald Distillery, Sneak & Dawdle, Irish Bred Pub, Eighth & Rail, Ma Fia's Outdoor Patio, and The Depot Outdoor Stage.
OPELIKA SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL is Co-Produced by The Sound Wall and Russell Carter Artist Management.
