About:

Today, the Old Baker Farm is managed by a fourth generation family member, proprietor and entrepreneur Jerry Baker and his wife, Pam.

Over the many years, the Baker farm has raised cotton, soy beans, corn, pumpkins, watermelons, as well as the garden that feeds the entire family.

Each October, the Baker's invite the public to join them for Cotton Pickin' Celebration, where everyone gets to see what life is all about on a real working farm.

The family tends to numerous livestock such as cattle, pigs, chickens, mules, and horses, and a ram named Curly Horn. Some of the animals will eat right out of the hand, which thrills the school children who visit the farm! The farm also features a Christmas Tree Farm, and also raises acres and acres of beautiful Leyland Cypress and Virginia Pine as well as other varieties of Chrismas trees grown in Alabama.
