About Us

Since opening its doors in 1997 the gallery has been fervently dedicated to supporting fine contemporary artists and providing its patrons with excellent service. Its collection has included diverse works by both established and emerging artists from across the United States. The gallery is privately owned and directed by Denyse McLean, a resident of Malibu for 23 years, with 33 years experience in sales and marketing. During its 10 years at the Malibu Country Mart, the McLean Gallery proved to be a succesful culmination of the talent and spirit of its artists and the enthusiastic support of the community. The gallery looks forward to re-opening in 2008 at the new Malibu Lumber Yard shopping center. The gallery will continue to serve its patrons over the internet and by private consutation until the new space is complete.
