MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Holland Public Library is to provide access to a variety of library materials for our year round population as well as for the increased summer population. We strive to provide materials of interest to patrons of all ages - children, young adults, adults and retirees.

The Holland Public Library will make an effort to have available current fiction, non-fiction materials and reference materials in a variety of books, videocassettes and audio cassettes as well as CDs, DVDs. While we are a small library with space and budget constraints by using Inter-Library Loan and Bookmobile Services we are able to supplement our collection. A Public Access Computer is available for patron use.

The Holland Public Library endorses the principals of the Freedom to Read Statement, the Library Bill of Rights, and the Freedom to View Statement adopted by the American Library Association.
