About Us:

The Friends of the Algonac-Clay Library has been operating for over 25 years. We began our tax-exempt organization in the building that is now the home of the Algonac-Clay Historical Museum. Members helped relocate to the library's present location formerly known as the old Hemminger Hardware store.

Our mission is to provide the library with the resources needed to serve our community. Our Friends group has provided library furniture, shelving, books, children's toys, as well as reading incentives, refreshments and more for library programs.

We welcome individuals of all ages to join us. Your membership and support will help us carry on our goals for the library.
