About

Fox Fire Farms is home to wines of distinction. We may be the only winery La Plata County, but even if there were dozens of other vintners in the area, you’d still want come see us. We had success growing white Riesling grapes. Our cold climate vineyard has Marquette, Corot Noir, Traminette, Brianna, and Vignoles grapes, French-American hybrid varieties that provide exceptional flavor and balance to the final product. These unique grapes have been cultivated to withstand low temperatures, allowing us to make wines in cold conditions. Our creations are moderately priced, but never cheap.
