Lawrence Medical Center has two rural health clinics that it oversees: the Moulton Health Clinic and the Courtland Health Clinic. Each is staffed with caring, efficient and knowledgeable employees who listen to the patients' needs and work with them to ensure they receive the best care possible. At each of these two rural health clinics, patients are seen by experienced medical professionals who treat them with professionalism, compassion, and understanding. The services include primary healthcare, health promotion, health education, disease prevention, and case management. At the LMC Rural Health Clinics, you're not just a patient, you're a person. You'll experience a small-town atmosphere with big-city knowledge.
LMC and its Rural Health Clinics are dedicated to providing continuity of care to their patients. Doctors receive continuing education, as do the nurses and nurse practitioners. Dr. Wilson, Dr. G. Cheng and Dr. S. Cheng see patients at LMC, when patients require hospitalization, and provide follow-up visits with ER patients that do not require hospitalization. Additionally, the physicians are part of the LMC Disaster Plan and willingly provide assistance to the hospital and community in the event of a disaster. The Rural Health Clinics and Lawrence Medical Center work together to provide the highest quality of care for their patients.
