Mission Statement :

The Claremont Museum of Art celebrates the community’s rich artistic legacy and promotes the cultural vitality of the region.

About The Museum :

The Claremont Museum of Art continues its mission to promote the arts in Claremont without walls. The Museum holds public and member events and “pop-up” exhibitions at various locations throughout the year, including the annual Padua Hills Art Fiesta held the first Sunday in November.

Although we do not currently have our own exhibition space, we are a thriving arts organization with a budget to support our educational programs, and a team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. We are committed to our mission to pay homage to the unique artistic tradition of Claremont and encourage the creativity of budding artists of all ages.

As funding for school art programs shrink, the Museum plays an important role in providing art education to Claremont youth through our three education projects: Project ArtStART, ARToon and Family Art activities. And we continue to work towards building an endowment to support an exhibition space in the future.
