About Us:

The Chadwick Public Library was established in 1937 and has been in existence ever since, though it's been located in a series of buildings. The first home of the library was a small room in what was the bank at that time. Then, over the course of 50 years, the library was housed in apartment houses, abandoned stores, and finally in our current location. In the spring of 1994, ground was broken for the new library building. We started moving into our new building in September and held the open house on November 6th with the slogan, "Open the door in '94!"
