Mission:

The mission of the Carlsbad Public Library is to meet the evolving educational, cultural and recreational needs of the public by providing modern library resources and services. The library strives to offer free programs and services to people of all ages, backgrounds, interests, abilities and levels of education.

The Carlsbad Public Library has been serving Carlsbad and the surrounding communities for over 100 years, meeting the educational, informational and recreational needs of our citizens. The Carlsbad Public Library is a Member of the Estacado Library Information Network (ELIN). In joining ELIN, the Library has been able to offer resources and services to the people of our area. Our services are for people of all ages, backgrounds, interests, abilities and levels of education.
