The group's smooth vocal style earned their introduction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. In the 80's, after so many years in the show business, The Platters were still producing hit seller albums, like the Candlelight Music Selection of the 50 Golden Hits of the Platters and their famous Encore of Golden Hits, which obtained gold records for them, selling millions through the entire world.
