Watch Our Holiday Scams Tele-Town Hall

Posted on 11/21/23

It’s the holiday season – a time for togetherness and celebration. For many of us, it’s a season of giving. Unfortunately, the gift-giving process also brings opportunities for scammers to enrich themselves. Our goal isn’t to take the joy out the holiday season or take the fun out of gift-giving, rather, it’s to help you be aware so you can protect yourself and your loved ones.

That’s why AARP Pennsylvania hosted a tele-town hall on Wednesday, November 15.

Our Tele-Town Hall was hosted by Mary Bach, Volunteer Chair of the Pennsylvania Consumer Issues Task Force. Our special guests included Sarah Frasch, Director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, and Lieutenant Adam Reed, Director of Communications with the Pennsylvania State Police.
