About the Event
For as long as there has been painting, there has been portraiture. From ancient times to today, portraits, no matter the subject, have revealed fundamental truths about humanity and identity. In this virtual tour, we’ll explore the incredible diversity of portraits in the Barnes collection and enjoy works by Modigliani, Van Gogh, Matisse and Cezanne.
After the presentation, participants will be invited to ask questions about the Barnes collection and history.
