Redrawn Political Boundaries May Affect Some North Dakota Voters

In March, AARP North Dakota is reaching out to the state’s voters, providing critical information about redistricting and clarity on how to vote.

Many North Dakota voters will be in new districts this year, following the decennial census. The redrawn boundaries could affect where people vote and which candidates run in your district. You can find a link to view the new maps and read about more important details for voters at aarp.org/ndvotes.

Many state legislative seats will be on the ballot this year, along with one U.S. Senate seat and North Dakota’s only U.S. House seat. The primaries will be held on Tuesday, June 14. The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 8. 

AARP North Dakota encourages voters to ask local and statewide candidates about issues that concern older residents, such as prescription drug prices and stronger communities.
