    Strength Training for Life | Wednesday, March 15 at 3 p.m. (online) 
    Strength training doesn’t have to mean barbells and machines at gyms. Get ideas on how to incorporate strength training into your life on a regular basis using weights or items you have in your home. Learn about the benefits of strengthening your body in this 45-minute session. Register today and a Zoom link will be sent the day before the event. Register here.

    Social Security Workshop | Tuesday, March 21 at 1:30 p.m. (online) 
    Medicare Workshop | Wednesday, March 22 at 1:30 p.m. (online) 
    For those approaching retirement, learn more about Social Security and Medicare. Attend this two-part online education session intended to help people nearing retirement make informed decisions about both programs. Speakers from the Bismarck office of the Social Security Administration and the N.D. Insurance Department will focus on how to get the most out of Social Security in retirement and the basics of Medicare. If you are unable to attend either of the presentations at the scheduled time, you can still register and watch them later. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required, and a Zoom link will be sent the day before the event.

    Get the inside scoop on volunteer opportunities with AARP! Whatever causes speak to you, whatever skills or interests you have, AARP has volunteer roles that are fulfilling and make an impact. Each noon during the week of March 27-31, we'll spend about 30 minutes covering AARP basics and reviewing the various programs that can use your help.     Hear from Fargo-based Assistant United States Attorney Matthew Greenley about the work his organization is doing to fight fraud. Learn more about lottery and romance scams, wire and mail fraud prosecutions, and how family members have financially exploited elders. Get the facts and know the red flags to keep you and your family safe from criminal scammers. There is no charge to attend and lunch will be provided. Registration is required.     Legal Issues with Susan Johnson-Drenth 
    Back by popular demand, Susan Johnson-Drenth, who’s practice areas include elder law and estate planning, will cover legal issues of interest to the group. Join us and bring your questions for this valuable presentation tailored especially for our LGBT audience. There is no charge to attend and a meal will be provided. Registration coming soon.

    2023 Hiking Day Trips | May - September 2023
    Join us for hiking day trips to five different parks this summer. Park interpreters will talk about each park and provide guidance on hiking trails. We'll have snacks and water available at all the hikes, and we'll cover your park day pass if you don't have one. Our final hike will include a picnic. Explore with others, get some good exercise and enjoy the North Dakota outdoors this summer! Hikes are held on Wednesdays beginning at 11 a.m. Register for one or every hike.
