A well-designed, livable community promotes health, sustain growth, and make for happier, healthier residents of every age, in all life stages. AARP Wisconsin is working to raise awareness in the greater Milwaukee area about the need for age-friendly, livable communities.

You can connect with AARP at one of our Coffee and Conversations to share your thoughts on building a more livable greater Milwaukee. You’ll receive a free coffee, a re-usable coffee sleeve and learn about all that AARP is doing in your community.

The next Coffee and Conversations will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Rise and Grind Café, 2737 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Milwaukee, WI 53212. Stop in any time during these two hours and spend a few minutes with us. There is no need to register. Just show up and connect with AARP.

We will be hosting Coffee and Conversations throughout the year at different coffee shops in communities all across the Milwaukee area. Check back to this blog regularly to see where the next one will be. For more information please email Amber Miller, Associate State Director for Community Outreach at AARP Wisconsin, at ammiller@aarp.org or at 608-949-4312
